Rubbedin Hot Spot Redi-Mortar is a heat resistant, sandstone coloured, ready-to-use mortar. It will withstand heat up to 1400 degrees. It's ideal for use in installing and repairing fireplaces, chimneys, fuel stoves and barbecues. It's pre-mixed, simple to use and air dries in 24 hours.

Designed for replacing and/or repairing fireplace bricks.

How to use

How to use our Hot Spot Redi-Mortar

Clean the area to be filled or fixed, removing any loose material and dust.
Mix Hot Spot Redi-Mortar thoroughly until even consistency is reached.
Wet (with water) area to be repaired and then apply Hot Spot Redi-Mortar with a trowel or suitable tool.
Allow 24 hours to air dry.
Keep lid tightly closed and store away from heat when not in use.
